AutoBAHN requirements for cNIS 3.2

Additions

 

External domain link (Ethernet, SDH, MPLS tabs)

       Add client checkbox (true or false)

o         Help popup: Choose this option if this link connects to a client end point (end host).

       Add description textbox (string). Ideally this should only be enabled when the user checks the client field above.

o         Help popup: Provide the free text description that will help the BoD service user identify the client end point.

 

Port (Ethernet tab)

       Add Public name field ( string).

o         Help popup: The name of the port that will be advertised to neighboring domains (if left blank, the actual port name will be advertised)

       Add Multiple links allowed checkbox

o         Help popup: Choose this option if you intend to connect multiple links to this port and want to override consistency checks by AutoBAHN.

 

Interface (SDH tab)

       Add Public name field ( string).

Modifications

 

       In Node details page, move VLAN ranges from AutoBAHN tab to General tab (remove AutoBAHN tab)

 

Removals

 

       Remove/Hide whole Ethernet->VLAN subsection

       Remove Node details->VLAN tab

       Remove Port->AutoBAHN tab

       Remove/Hide Port->VLANs field

       Remove Port->Business ID field

       Remove SDH interface -> AutoBAHN tab

 

General

 

The Partitioning information / Owner (in AutoBAHN tabs) meaning is not clear. It is not currently used and should probably be removed.
